Yesterday’s Supreme Court Decision on SB1070 signaled we officially have moved further into the "loving arms" of Federal Control and further away from individual and states’ rights. Throughout the history of the world, whenever a nation has moved from the rights of the people to govern themselves, to just a few governing the many, the existence of that nation has been short lived, I cite just one example, Rome.
The Supreme Court of the United States has dealt a blow from within this country that no foreign government has been able to do with force, take some of my freedom away from me and the majority of the people who live in this country. With another of their decisions they have successfully chipped a huge piece of the U.S. Constitution away from us and you can rest assured that those who have nurtured this event of yesterday are more emboldened now than ever before to rip all of our individual freedoms from us until we are closer to being a society run by the few, for the benefit of the few, at the cost of the many.
Each Justice who voted to take away States Rights to enforce the laws of the land will be facing all of those who wore the uniform of the United States and have sworn to “protect the Constitution from enemies both foreign and domestic”. I believe each member of the Supreme Court will, on their day of reckoning, face every man, woman, and child who has sacrificed for our Nation and the Constitution of the U.S. For over 235+ years we have had those who gave their youth and their lives to protect the most beautiful of documents ever written that allows a nation to be governed by representatives, elected by the people, to Washington D.C. and to the State Capitals to insure that our beloved Constitution is compiled with and protected at all cost.
To you, my brothers and sisters who served in the Armed Forces of the United States, I ask but one question, when, will we come together, with a common purpose, just as we did on the battlefields of history and today, and tell our politicians, our elected officials, that we still believe we are sworn to protect the Constitution of the United States, and we will show our continued pride in our country and distrust of anyone in political office who breaks their oath of office and tries to take away our FREEDOM by being an educated voter who will expend all available energies for their removal from office!
I finish by saying I see no Victory in this decision for anyone, regardless of your position on SB1070, all I see is a loss of such great importance, as to make it impossible for anyone to foretell how this one decision has impaired our hold on FREEDOM FOR ALL
